Title: How do I get my playlists to my portable with MC 11?
Post by: Click Cardo on August 06, 2005, 02:40:03 pm
Hi?  I have a new Dell DJ30, but this maybe generic to all portable mp3 players.

In MC 11 I can create named playlists just dandy.  When I select a playlist all the tracks show in the current view window where I can select and transfer them by dragging to the action window.  However, the playlist does not transfer, only the individual tracks.  The same thing happens on Windows Media Player 10.  I know it can be done cuz I do it in Musicmatch 10 Plus just fine, but I want to use MC.

Cany anybody tell me how to put an actual playlist on my portable?

Right now, MC and WMP are using what is called the WMDM interface to your Dell which does not support playlists. I can add support through a cusomized plugin that supports playlists quickly if you tell me exactly how the Dell DJ30 appears in the MC tree. Also, drop me an email at steve @ jriver.com so I can send you an updated file to test this out (as I do not have a Dell DJ30 to verify the result).

Thanks,

Steve
