I am using Media Center 11 to organize my image files, which are mainly jpgs. What I want to do is use a field that will let me categorize my photos. I tried adding "keywords" to my current view fields, and it will let me attach a keyword to a photo, but only one keyword per photo. I want to be able to tag some photos with more than one keyword. For example, I might want to add a family black and white shot to both Black and white, and family categories (keywords) Is there another field I could use that would allow my to categorize my photos this way? With keywords added to my current view fields, I am able to just click each keyword and bring up the tagged photos, accept for the above mentioned limitation. Any ideas on this? Thank you.

Keywords are semi-colon (;) delimited. Enter multiple keywords with no spaces and only semicolons between them, and you can search for any one of the listed items. Adding an additional keyword to a series of disimilar keyword strings has proved beyond me. I get <varies> in the keyword field, so I select only similarly-populated fields when I want to update fields, even if there are 10,000 of them. Smnarter people may know how to do this, so you should ask them.
Thank you to EpF for helping me with this; sorry that so little of it stuck.

using inline editing or the action window to add/remove items from a semi-colon delimted list is not impossible, but not advisable.
Panes are the way to go. Add your keywords pane to a viewscheme then bring up a list of the files you wish to work with. Select at least one file. Note the tick boxes in the panes.

click in the 'new keyword' checkbox and say yes to the enable tagging mode dialogue. type your new keyword, press OK. then keep going. add as many different keywords to as many different images as you like. If the keywords you need are already in the pane, a simple tick will apply it to the selection.
Or did I not get the question?

You got the question right, and the answer also. That worked perfectly. Thank you much for the capture, that made it much easier. I appreciate the help!
