Title: Importing photos with MC11

After I acquire images, tag them, update library from tags and rename files from properties, why do I need to import them with MC 11?

With MC 10, after I tagged, updated library from tags, and renamed files from properties, the pictures were available for viewing w/o performing importing.

This is a problem when I tag pictures and they are stored in different directories.  I don't want to search/import the entire "My Photos" every time I use MC.

Images are imported when you acquire them from the camera.  Maybe you have MC set to a Music mode?

I believe MC10 and MC11 are nearly identical in this area.

Try hitting F5 to refresh the view you're looking at. 

Check the playlist called "Recently Imported".

More details on your problem might help.  What view, etc.
