Title: How can I rip CD+G Karaoke discs?
Post by: titanic on August 11, 2005, 05:48:17 am
Does anyone know how to rip CD+G karaoke discs with MC 11? This would be such a cool thing to do. CD+G (graphics) uses text on screen while music is playing in the background. There is no video background such as on conventional Karaoke DVDs. Can anyone help please? ?

Try CloneCD. Make sure that Multimedia is selected.

I believe the actual question is......
is there a way for Media Center to play the +G part of the CD.
I use a program from  TriceraSoft - Called  wincdgpro2  to do the ripping and the playing.
Other rippers were able to grab the wav - but not the text, when i pulled the text - the players didnt sync it.    It really has to be a feature of the player /ripper  to do both,

I have ripped all my CD+G to HD -and it would be wonderful if MC - would play it back properly
save me from having duplicate systems!.
