Hello.
A beginner's question, how to bookmark a video??? ?

I don't think you can currently. DVD bookmarking is provided automatically however.

Really? This works for me if I'm playing a dvd but not for an .avi. Is it a setting somewhere?

I've only tried it with .vob files so far.

I believe this was introduced in MC11.

No.  This definately does not work with AVIs, MKVs, OGMs, or most MPEGs (I honestly haven't tested any M2V or QuickTime MP4 files but it doesn't work with run-of-the-mill MPEG-1 MPG files).  Unless I too haven't located the mysterious Option. VOB files are probably handled in the DVD "way" so they are "resumed".

Honestly, I don't know if I'd like it if they did auto-resume.  Some sort of global (audio and video) Bookmarking scheme would be a nice new feature to add value to MC12 though...
