Title: what rights are needed
Post by: alcapone99 on August 12, 2005, 01:59:22 am
Hi,

we use the Media Jukebox in our cocktail bar and want to limit the rights of the user logged on since the bar keepers always install totally rubish.
I installed media center with a local admin and then logged on as a "normal" domain user. Media Center did not work. It said something like you need to reinstall it. I reinstalled it, but it failed.
How can I achive that?

Thanks,
Martin

You Need to Have The Same Program And Version Of Program On Local And Remote, Or the Two Will Not Talk Correctly.

We use the media jukebox 8 which is the newest version on the website.
Sure I installed the same version, once with the local user and once with the domain user.
The question is, why do I have to rerun the setup? Normally if you install a software with a local admin, it is available for all other users. That does not seam to be the case here.
