I've got a couple of shows that I would like to be able to play in MC that are currently .bin/.cue CD images. These are VCD images and burning them and playing them on my DVD player is a hassle. Is there any way to play them directly or convert them into a format playable from my PC (not from a CD)?

I don't know about playing them in Media Center, but I know of a (free) program called vcd gear that will (quickly) convert your .bin/.cue files to mpeg and/or .dat. Should do the trick.

The BEST player (most versatile) out there is the VLC player.........its a freeware. You can d/l it from
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
and play the .bin/.cue files directly. You dont have to mount the imagine or any of that long process, unless ofocurse you want to back it up :)
It plays all kinds of files, lots of extensions that other players dont even recognize.
First use it, and then u can thank me ;)
Cheers!

VLC Player -- PERFECT! I had just completely forgotten the name. (A friend told me before the forum got back, but that is ok).
Now, this leads to the all important question: Can MC be modified to import .bin/.cue groupings and use the VLC Player to play them internally ??

Why do you need MC to do it internally ?
Browse to where your vids are and Send To->Send To (external)->VLC player.
It might even be possible to cue up several but you would need to play with batch files for that.
