Title: Static and Skipping in Media Center when downloading or uploading

Hey all,
noticed that I get alot of static and skipping in media center when downloading or uploading (emule in particular almost makes it stop playing). My RAM monitor shows that I always have enough RAM free, and it doesn't seem to happen when i do non-internet related processor heavy tasks.  i have a soundblaster audigy soundcard and my buffer set at 1 s (changing it to three seconds did not change the amount of skipping). Any Ideas?
