The Playing Now pop-up doesn't show up very well since I'm using the Google Sidebar. While the sidebar is docked to the left of my screen, the playing now shows up as a black square in the lower left corner (instead of lower right) and moves from left to right (instead of upward):

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Does it work OK if the sidebar is docked to any other side of the screen?
-
If I dock the sidebar to the right side of the screen, playing now pops from right to left in the lower-right corner of the screen but is not blackened.
Both in 'deskbar' and 'floating deskbar' modes the google program doesn't disturb playing now.
I really wish I could use it docked to the left though, since I have an extended desktop with the right screen on a TV, making it very hard to hover over the 2 pixels of the hidden sidebar.

The issue was that the sidebar was screwing up my code which determined which side you have the task bar docked.
