Title: 2 Bugs
Post by: akak718 on September 05, 2005, 12:59:03 pm
I believe I am seeing 2 bugs in MC11 (build 309).

1. I keep my library on a file server that I access via a wireless network. Sometimes, due to interference or whatever, the network doesn't work. If I start MC from another machine during that time, when it tries to load the library from the file server, it loads an empty library instead of saying that the load failed. Then when the network comes back, MC saves the blank library over my real one. This has happened to me a few times now.

2. From theater view, when shuffle mode is on, if I select "Play" on a folder, the first file in the folder will always play first, even though the rest of the files will be shuffled. If I do the same thing from standard view, the first file will be random as it should be.

We saw a problem a few weeks ago that was solved by updating the firmware for the network drive.

I'm certain this is not a firmware issue. This is not a standalone network drive. I'm talking about another computer with a shared folder on my netowrk.
