Title: How to prevent "drive name drift"?

I'm having trouble keeping my UMS players using the same drivenames. Needless to say this creates regular hassle with MC and sometimes I've just manually hunted down the files I wanted to transfer.

Is there a way to make a player use only a single drive?

Not that I am aware of.  This problem will go away in future releases of MC.
