Does anybody know if the galleon program can co-exist with JRiver, or will i totally mess up my easy-to-use configuration if I throw Galleon into the mix?
The feature set looks pretty cool -- wanted to see how it works.

Yes, JRiver & Galleon can coexist. Once the Home Media Apps are activated as part of the HME extensions, JRiver's two Tivo apps and whichever Galleon apps you install all show up together under the "Music, Photos, & More" entry on the main Tivo menu.

I found Galleon's menus to be slow responding and sometimes hang. That was several months ago, I'm sure the product has moved forward. Getting the weather maps on flickr pictures was cool, but the interface still a little clunky that I would sooner go to my wireless laptop.
The real beauty though was to have BOTH pictures and music streaming from your PC. It is the one thing (IMO) that Galleon has that MC MUST GET (please, please, please!!!)

I have both on my server and they run fine together.
I wish that MC had a better player interface on the server. I like galleon's screen far better than the standard Tivo screen.

Are you aware that MC11 will present the structure you have in the Standard View and that it can be modified?

When JRiver can do THIS, then I'll be 100% in their camp:

And, just for comparison, this is a TV shot of JRiver on my TV:

Obviously, if you are having a party, or, if you are listening to an entire genre on "random", this view is so much better.
I'd rather use JRiver, however, but Galleon is pretty sweet.
