MY gozilla said there was an update to media juke box so I got it and ran the update but now there is a problem
previously I read the names from cddb ( gracenote) but now it does yabb ? Is this correct or have I done something wrong??
I also seem to remember a pulldown menu where I could select alternative cd databases but now i cant find it ? please direct me
Many thanks

CDDB is no longer supported, and when that pull down was put in the program that was when they were converting from one lookup service to the other more than 6 months ago. and the change started about 12 months ago.

there are about 30,000 messages on this subject so do a search for more info.

Sometimes when inputting a CD, the lookup can't find a match. Is there anyway for me to 'force' a match, say if I put the album name or group or both in some lookup so the CD database will return the album, and if I know it's the right one I will have the names of my tracks set up.

Thanks

you can force it to re search

by right clicking on the cd in the left tree, and then select update from database.

Thanks King thanks for that-- Unfortunenatly I Had a disc failure and lost about 1300 tracks of music that was all registered with cddb -many by myself- this is most annoying because I have to go through the whole process of entering the names again.

it is too bad all this info is not in the disk already that would solve all the problems.
