I am planning to be the "DJ" for a party that will be outside at our neighborhood clubhouse. Id like to take my laptop down and use it as my music source, but the last thing I want to do is unwire my Denon 3805 and then haul my big azz Axiom speakers down there to be knocked over and kicked around. Does anyone have any ideas as to some sort of setup I could rent (or buy cheaply) to acept a digital audio source from my laptop (Turtle Beach USB Sound Card) and then amplify it and send to speakers. Thinking "Peavey" for some reason here... Guidance appreciated - jeff

I do not know if this is a good idea but worked for me.
I plugged my guitar amplifier (100 watt) to my laptop and get the party started not once, twice, I've done it several times, bbq, birthdays, new year parties, I think it works fine for outdoors, I do not think hi-fi sound is required for outdoors so that's why it worked for me.
