I keep getting:
" the following 100 files cannot be transferred. Common erros include insufficient rights or unsupported filetype.
Remove the unsupported files and continue the transfer?"
Every time I start MC. I've actually stopped using the program because I'm so annoyed that no matter how I answer, the program feels compelled to check for this transfer everytime it opens. How do I stop this, forever?
Thanks,
Jeff

What version are you running. You can copy your system info from MC Help and paste it here.
Are you running any third-party plug-ins?
Any devices plugged-in? iPod, for example?
Did you try uninstalling, rebooting, and re-installing? Remove registry entries when you uninstall, if necessary.

MC 11.0
No plug-ins.
I just installed the latest version.
I have an iPod and have connected it before, but when I experienced this file copying problem I stopped using the program.
BTW: Thanks for replying and taking an interest. I really want to think this program is the "answer" for my media purposes.
Thanks

Please do.
Something isn't right in the setup. Uninstall, re-install and remove registry entries.
Disconnect all removable disc drives.

Also, double-check all the options under "Handheld" in options.
It sounds like some device (maybe no longer connected) is set to automatically synchronize.
Let us know what you find.

I just got this message when trying to transfer Podcasts (maybe for the first time ever) to my iPod.

You need to click on "Download" first so they're on your disk.

Oh, that seems to have worked. :)
Maybe I seem a little slow here but this didn't feel like an intuitive experience, the error message really didn't help and I can't imagine I'll be the only person that will be doing this.
Thanks!

You're correct. It's on our list.
