Title: Sort without "the"

Is there an easy way to have the media library sort artists/albums/etc in alphabetical order, ignoring the word "the" if it's the first word?

Tools -> Options -> Tree & View -> Sorting

Select the "Ignore articles..." checkbox.

Hey, no problem.  There are so many features it's hard to follow where they all are.  But, that's such a popular one, I'm surprised a search of the forums didn't find it for you.

I have just seen this topic, maybe there is also a solution for german articles (der die das ...) ?? I haven't found anything about this  :(

Is there any config file where I can find a list of all the articles and is there a way to append this with my own ?

With some other software (e.g. SlimServer), you can choose which articles to ignore.  The spanish ones might be pretty popular too ("Los, Las, La...").  Unfortunately, MC doesn't allow that yet.
