Title: Library Server Connection Issues
Post by: SuperRabbit0 on November 03, 2005, 08:29:17 am

I have been using Library Server for some time to stream music to my work PC.

I have recently upgraded to 11.1.49 to address some problems I was having with upnp, and it worked perfectly.

However, now I am having problems with Library Server.  When I log onto my library from work, it connects fine and I can see my complete and current library, all views and all files.

However, when I try to play one of those files I get the message:

"Media Center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files.

Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location."

Have I set something up wrong on my server now?

We introduced a problem that may be still there.  Try changing the options for conversion.

yes, I can still dupe the problem.
Change it to not convert files and it will work.
Under Tools>Options>Library

I'm working on this - it's proving tough to track down.

No rush from me as I use the "don't convert" option anyway.
Maybe others with lossless need it more than I do though.

Thanks for the help.   That was easy!
