Title: Didn't Get the Email
Post by: sbpyper on November 06, 2005, 12:04:50 pm
I had a hard drive failure and all my information on the purchase of Media Center 11 and prior purchases has been lost.

I requested the serial number be sent to my email address on Saturday November 5 and again, on Sunday Novemer 6.  It's still Sunday and I haven't seen any email with my registration serial number.  Is this service closed on the weekends?

I don't want to give out my email address but would someone please contact....

Thank you!

The e-mail on your purchase transaction is the same as the one you use here.  Please check your spam filters.  I believe it was sent.  We can confirm on Monday if you can't find it.

E-mail is from buy-button@jriver.com .

I spoke to Deanna at your office on Monday.   She is going to look into it.  I use hotmail and there is NO SPAM BLOCKER.  I am not getting any email after a 3rd try on Monday just a few minutes ago.  I've never had a problem getting a restore in the past.

Thank you for your help...

Hi,

The mail is going out, making it to hotmail at least. Did you get a test message a few moments ago? Double check your hotmail spam settings, there may be something hidden there...

Okay, there are 3 junk block settings in Hotmail and I had it set for medium.  I changed it to the lowest setting and I also changed from immediate delete of junk to send to junk folder for review.

I hope these changes will work.  I get a lot of junk mail--especially with Hotmail.  I didn't think it was getting blocked but I hope now it will work.

Please try again!

P.S., I guess there is no way to change my email address because I don't have the password (lost with harddrive) right?

And, no I didn't get the test email prior to changing my hotmail settings--but try again, please!
