- This is an alpha version of MC 11.1.
- There aren't many new features in it yet.
- It will work with the same MC11 license that 11.0 uses.
- Use at your own risk and do not make it your first download of MC.
As always, please post only bugs here -- anything requiring discussion should go in a new thread. Non-bug posts will be deleted or moved.
Media Center 11.1 ALPHA is now available. PRICES for MC11.0 and 11.1 are here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=23311

Looks much better :-)
One thing tho. Everytime a new version of 11.1 is installed
Audible re-appears.
Can Hide be more permenant?

Audible work isn't finished. Please wait.

forgot to mention this last time, would it be possible to add LIBRARY FORMAT CHANGED in bold to the release/changes info (ie, the stuff at the top of this post) when it changes, or perhaps state the library version each build uses anyway so it's a bit more obvious that we have to back them up before installing?

The following has started with any of the 11.1.xx versions. I have went back to 11.0.xxx and all was fine.
This is also with 2 computers.
Visual bug...
Play a track,
Switch to Playing Now. The top part of the screen still shows the previous view.... This happens on both my computers.
I have also verified that this was not the case with 11.0.xxx
Thanks,
Anybody else see this? Any ideas?

In synch mode where we specify the playlists to synch, MC is not remembering which playlists are checked to synch.
Mr ChriZ, if you were really quick last night, you would have noticed that I asked a question about the same issue. It got locked within 15 minutes. Maybe if it weren't locked, that would have spared you the question...

8. NEW: Introduced new search syntax for searching for date elapsed, using the prefixes s,m,h,d,y in front of a number. (examples: "[Date Imported]=d1-d20" (imported 1 to 20 days ago) or "[Date]=>y5" (newer than 5 years ago))
Thanks! Sometimes the simplest things are the best. I always had to calculate seconds before.

Ummm....this might be the IT Manager in me speaking here, but um, why wouldn't you back it up EVERY time?

Great job guys!
Now, can we get a setting in this beautiful new handheld options dialog to auto-eject the handheld after sync? ::)

iPod syncs are still really glitchy for me. When I try to sync up my smartlists, the old versions stay on the iPod. MC crashes if I try to delete a playlist from the iPod. When I restart, the iPod is detected as a new device and I have to set the sync settings all over again, but the database, files and playlist are still intact. The name I changed the iPod to is also reverted to default when this happens. Deleting one song from the iPod and then synchronizing still seems to be the easiest temporary fix for this problem.

Volume Levelling Seems to be broken,
DSP Studio
Replay Gain checked
Track Based Checked
Adjustment : Fixed
I keep haveing to turn up and down the computer volume.

Library server suddenly doesn't work. On the "client" I get this message: "Media Center encountered errors while playing the last several files. Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location."
I can't play any files from the client, but all files from the server, so the path should be right. Cover art is transfered ok, but I can't play any files.
It started when I installed 11.1.51 (I installed this version on both machines.)

Robert,
Please try the build 11.1.53 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=30200.0) and repost in that thread.
