Is there any special setting to enable spdif output? I can't seem to get anything to come out of the spdif output on my audiocard when using MC. Thanks.

Just works on my card, although on mine theres an
option in the soundcards volume control panel.
Mines quite an old card, tho so it could be different on something modern =)

The soundcard drivers register the outputs under the "Windows Play Conttrol", the volume control panel that ChriZ is talking about. You need to go in there (the loudspeaker icon in the task tray) and enable the appropriate output.
That is, if you just aren't getting sound out of it. If the spdif works with other software but not MC, then I'm flumoxed.

Thanks guys. I was able to get it to work quite well. The only exception is that I can't get ASIO output through the SPDIF. All is well, though. Thanks :)
