Title: Editing the left pane

hello again,

first of all, i love this forum. especially this neat lttle feature at the top called search. answered a lot of questions.

things i could not find.

is it possible to edit the items you see in the left pane. for instance. can i get rid of thngs like tv tuner or pluggins?

is it also possible to show for instance the coverart from now playing, the same way as image from file properties-action window at the left pane, while using other panes like media library at the right? ( if somebody understands what i try to say)

Not those, I think. You can add, edit and remove view schemes.

The initial MC 11.1 alpha had an display experiment like that, but it was removed. I guess we will see a better version of it later. This thread has discussion about the display change and some new ideas: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=29703.msg205052#msg205052.

For now, you can use the windowed display mode:

Alex, I have some questions about the screenshot in your post. Is there a way to get windowed and standard view on the screen at the same time, or is the screenshot just a composite picture? Also, I like that windowed view with cover art, tag info, and visualization boxes. How can I get that windowed view?

Make sure you have tools > options > general > interface > minimize to system tray un-checked.
Then go to view > windowed view.

It's not a mockup. It should work like datdude said.

The track info template is "Thunderstorm", made by geekbeats2.
