I am using 11.1.65 and I get the default MC logo when a song plays. I want no cover art to show up at all when I play songs. Is this possible? I have a 60gb ipod.
Thanks,

I agree that it makes sense for cover art transfer to be an option as not everyone will want it.

How bout turning Photo off in Ipod, does that help?

What do you mean?

On my Ipod, From the Main Screen:
Settings
Main Menu
Photo's, You should be able to turn this off... I'm not sure if it will stop the cover art, or just stop you from being able to view pictures.... Worth a try?

That's just a setting to say whether you want to see it in the menu!

Well it's your fault for listening to me..... You've been around as long as I have, When have you seen me type anything useful?? 8)

Here's something you could explore: when I use the latest updater to restore my 4G (40gb photo iPod) and don't initialize it within MC before I sync, all my songs are uploaded without cover art. Strange workaround maybe, but it works on mine and doesn't seem to cause any problem afterwards.

We will need to enable a feature to disable album art. It should not be very hard to implement.
