How do I restore my licence to a pc not connected to the internet?
I now have a pc that I will use just for my music and video stuff, I do not want it anywhere the internet to keep my collection safe. I can load Media Centre but don't know how to take my licence from one machine to the other, also the encoders and other plugins.
Many thanks for any advice.

You need to download a new Install Key from the restore page and use a local LAN, floppy, CD-R/W or external HD for copying the key file.
From the purchase FAQ (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/buy_faq11.html):
Q: Can I install on more than one PC?
A: During the two-week period after you have purchased or restored, you can use the Install Key you received to activate the program on your other PC’s. You may use the program on your work PC and on your home PC's with a single license.
Q: Can I save the Install Key instead of installing it directly?
A: Yes. You can right click on the link following purchase, then choose "save as" instead of clicking on it. Then, in Windows Explorer, just double click on the file to install it.
The key is valid for two weeks:
Q: I purchased a month ago, but when I try to reinstall, it doesn’t work.
A: Each install key can be used for a limited time. You can get a new install key, free of charge, by visiting the Restore Page. Double check your system date.

Also, if you use MC11 and need to install the MP3 encoder just copy the file named lame.exe from the [MC program path]\plugins folder. The download page doesn't have an MP3 encoder plugin for MC11 (a plugin for MC9 & MC10 is available).
