Title: iPod synch with MC11.1.65

I was finally able to load up my iPod with 11.1.65. Thanks...
I checked the 'Delete tracks from handheld if not on sync list' option so I could start using playlists of songs that I don't leave on the iPod. (I have an iPod field and playlist so that a large number of albums stay on the iPod at all times.)

I added a few albums to that list and used the sync. It then erased all the music from the iPod except the few new albums. I had to uncheck the option and reload the iPod.

This always used to work. Has anyone else had this happen?

Forgot to mention that this sync had a duplicate file message, do you want to proceed.  I saw another post that said the sync erased everything after that message also.

So I will try to sync with the erase check box checked, now that I have eliminated the bad file.

I'll let you know soon.

Just did a sync without the missing file and the delete box checked and all worked well..........

So maybe the error of the duplicate file and continue message is different than a normal sync??
