I have the option to "Get cover art from internet after ripping" selected in the setup options. However, it doesn't work. I have to right click the album after ripping and manually select "get from internet" in order to find and download the covers. It just won't do it automatically.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

it may depend on what artist your ripping

Could Maybe Be Also A Firewall Problem?

Not likely a firewall or artist issue. Like I said, if I manually initiate the same lookup routine - no problemo. It just won't do it automatically after ripping.
-
I can't reproduce this problem with the current version (11.1).

I've tried it on two different machines with the same results. Any suggestions on why it works manually and not automatically? I'm assuming the manual method (right click on album, choose get from internet) uses the same block of code to find the covers, no?

Yes, both methods use the exact same code.
There are two other actions that should occur at the same time as the automatic "get cover art" following rip completion. They are "Play sound" and "eject after rip". Do these options work for you if you enable them in the options?

Will check when I get home tonight. Thanks. Anxious to get this fixed, I've got about 700 CD's to rip - no joke.

OK, I found the trigger. Covers are not automatically looked up if the "Rip to single file with Cue.." option is enabled. If that option is enabled, you have to manually initiate the cover lookup. Check it out and let me know if you can reproduce it.
