I cant seem to get the Bios Finder to work.
- I ran the .exe file and installed to the default location
- I created a new library field called Bios (used the default options)
However when I go to the Plugin Manager and try to start the Bios Finder I get an error message saying that JRiver cannot 'start or find Bios Finder'.
Where am I going wrong? Please help. THANKS!

It is prob Your Missing Some RunTime Files
I Created A New Build, 2.0.3 that has a few extra files in it. let me know if the new build works for you.
-
Thanks, however I just downloaded and installed 2.0.3, and unfortunately it doesnt seem to make any difference...
Does everyone have this problem? I have a very standard setup.

I just uploaded another one, same version so make sure it acualy downloads (if it only takes 1 or 2 seconds it realy did not download)
it was calling for a file it did not need MCINET.OCX but in this build i included it anyway.

Well, we are getting closer. With that version I no longer get the error of 'cannot start or find Bios Finder'. Now I can press start, it stays greyed out, but i dont get the program pop up in a new window, as I assume, its meant to?
So nothing seems to happen, MC11 is not frozen, I can push stop, and continue using MC11.
What next? :)

It don't Pop up
i have images on my web site of what it should look like
Not sure other than something else is wrong (different about your system) other than the missing files.

Yes, what I meant was the program window doesnt open. I dont see anything. The program appears to start, as I get the hourglass for a few seconds, but no program window.
Also, why would these files be 'missing'? Am I the only one to have this problem?

Version of windows Could Have An Effect.
This may help
Visual Basic 6.0 SP6: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7b9ba261-7a9c-43e7-9117-f673077ffb3c&displaylang=en
this on you must extract to a temp folder then run the install program in that folder
Also
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=25437D98-51D0-41C1-BB14-64662F5F62FE&displaylang=en
Basicly Both Have Files In It That Allow Visual Basic Programs To Run, Depending On The Date Of Windows Some Of Them May Be Included. The Above Two Links Should Bring A Users System Upto Date.
