Title: MC Won't install UPnp Server

I recently had some problems with MC11.1 so I did a system restore to go back to 11.0.302.  I reinstalled MC 11.0.302 just to be sure but now the installer hangs when installing the UPnP plug in.  Any ideas what I should try next?

How you did the system restore?

Is there anything left from MC11.1?

Why 302? Is it better for you than 316?

Check to see if there is a process called "Media Center" running before you begin the install. That will cause the install to hang, and it used to incorrectly report that the UPnP server was the cause.

Thanks guys.  To be on the safe side I did a fresh install and all is well now.  Wish I'd seens Gateley's post before I did that  :-[

Having said that, even after doing a complete uninstall and reinstall I found it was not long before I had Mc configured back the way it was and everything was working perfectly.

Alex - I use 302 due to a problem with the com interface in later builds that affects NetRemote Mediabridge.  The problem disappeared with later builds of 11.1.
