OK, let me add to this then.

Are there any other auto lyrics finders that you recommend that are not necessarily related to MC or any media player?

I have seen some but none that work half as good as yours.

How about from here: http://www.evillabs.sk/evillyrics ?

Probably no way to extract all the lyrics from this program automagically, huh?

Like maybe taking the lyrics out of it?  :'(  I hear that the MPA has their eyes on all the lyrics sites.

i figured it out, i was using the wrong version of the control should have been version 2 of the ftp control.

I am going to change the control in this plug-in one day to one that works better

i am uploading a new build make sure it downloads completely it is the same version.

King--
This seems wicked fast compared to 2.01, which wasn't necessarily slow.  Maybe it's traffic, but somebody really put the speed on.

Thanks again for these plugins, SpartaChamp.  Can't wait to see what you're muttering  about with auto-EQ

Don't worry, lyrics are soon to be a thing of the past.

Note the one of the first was providing a very similar service.

Nope. If I were providing lyrics to the public, I'd be looking for the 'Cease and desist' letter in the not too distant future.

I wonder if I can be prosecuted for having songs 'in my head' while I'm away from my RIAA approved, purchased, DRM'd music?

I Can Understand Some Of There Concerns, But Lyrics And Cover Art Sites May Improve Customers Music Experience And Users May Buy More Music.

I Can See Where Tabs And Sheet Music Would Infringe On The Copy Write Laws. And From What I Have Read They Are Targeting Mostly Sites That Provide Tabs And Sheet Music (I Could Be Wrong).

I hope you're right because stopping lyric sites is ridiculous. I'm not going to go into the big reasons why because that thread had the same thoughts. I don't understand why cover sites aren't okay either but a couple years ago they made my favorite one, www.cdcovers.cc take their CD covers off.

I don't think so.
The sites mentioned were free lyrics sites.

"The software for Macintosh helped users to locate lyrics to popular songs."

"Apple news site MacNN also noted in a December 6 article on the removal of PearLyrics that most of the lyrics widgets had disappeared from Apple's Dashboard Widget download site."

Sheetmusic provides lyrics along with the notes themselves you know.
