I'm trying to consolidate the directories that I have my mp3's in. I created a new library, and then did an "import" from the directories. It goes for a while, and then comes up with an error: "Playback Engine : The parameter is incorrect.". It happens at the same file every time. But, it doesn't tell me the file name, so I have no way to figure out while file it is. What can I do? I'm on MC 11.0.316.

What can I do?
Split The Files Up In Smaller Folders Until You Find The Offending File.

Ugh. There's 34903 files, and it's locking up on file 28321. It takes about 20 minutes to get to that point. It would take a really long time to identify the offending file this way. Isn't there some kind of logging that can be turned on that will keep a running progress of the files it processes? Or maybe this is a known bug...?

If you look under Help theres an option called
"Configure Debug Logging"
Here you can turn on and off Logging
Under list of events to log one option is
"Import"
So I think you'll want that one turned on..
Then Do the importing bit...
open up the log file...
and with a bit of luck it might point you to the file thats
causing the difficulty...
The log files stored under
%Documents and Settings%\%user%\application data\JRiver\Media Center 11\log.txt
