I'm still having MC crash when using MC11.exe. (see 11.1.080 report)
Have tested back a few versions and 11.1.076 works OK with MC11.exe but .078 crashes (sorry don't have .077), so the problems has been introdeced after 1.076.
Also same issue with cover art and Vis studio as mentioned above.

Hi Richard.
I can't reproduce this. I made this batch file:
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3
Then I ran it over and over while MC was playing. It worked.
Do you have any other clues that might help us?
Thanks,
-Matt

Hi Matt,
I can run the same batch file and it works too.
I even launched it from a button in theaterview which is the state MC is in when I trigger the minimize MC11 command event from Girder.
I have MC11 and girder 4 (Rc1) installed and a usb-uirt attached.
I also have the usb-uirt enabled in the MC options\remotes to recognise the arrow and ff/rew buttons, these buttons aren't set to trigger in girder.
If I manually switch out of theater view and press the button on my remote to trigger the minimize event in girder, MC doesn't seem to crash. But if I trigger the event in Theater view MC does crash.
I play my files off a network share (X: drive) in case this is also a contributing factor.
Maybe we have a girder4/MC clash somewhere, but only since .076.
Do you want me to email you my girder GML file?

Does Girder fire all the commands at once instead of in serial?
Can you simplify the command from Girder so that it's only doing one thing, and still get a crash?
Thanks for the help.

In serial.
I have cut the event down to just the two commands in serial
MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0
MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0
And can still get the crash.

What if you do just one command?
And the only way to get the crash is by doing it with Girder?
Thanks.

I have setup 2 Girder actions triggered by buttons on my remote.
[Button 1]) Window MC (MC11.exe /MCC 22009,0)
[Button 2] Restore to theater View (MC11.exe /MCC 22009,3)
Have run Button 1 followed by button 2 10 times without a crash
Added a 2nd command after the first to button 1 to minimize MC (MC11.exe /MCC 10014,0)
MC crashed on first press of button 1
I went into options/remote and stopped the usb-uirt remote plugin. Still get same results.

Since you said it only happens while playing, does disabling visualizations make a difference?
-
Matt, looks like you've got it!
I changed to Cover Art instead of my Vis Studio visualization and crashes stopped.
Tried 3D Vis, and this was OK to, changed back to same vis that was causing crash and it no longer crashes either!
So at this stage problem has fixed itself...will let you know if it comes back!
Interesteng, rebooting didn't fix it, but changing the vis to something else and then back again did.
Cheers
Richard
