Dom,

Nomad Jukebox 3 support in MC 11.1 will not support playlists. In 11.1 we provide standartd WMDM support for the Nomad Jukebox 3 series which does not include playlists.
Steve

As you can see above I was told by Steve, that starting with MC 11.1  playlists synchronization to Nomad Jukebox 3 and earlier is not supported anymore :( This is not really good, since the playlists are the main features of using MC for synchronization with MJ3.

So I'm wondering if I am the only one affected by this? Anyone else, that might not be happy about this?
Question to Steve, is the Nomad Jukebox Zen also affected? Or is only the Nomad Jukebox 3 and earlier?

So please anyone affected by this, please raise your voice.

I do not want to move to a new Mp3 player yet, until a good player comes on the market that also supports cross fading ...

Thanks
Dom

We have moved to the more standard WMDM approach, instead of a proprietary Nomad approach.

However, it may be worth talking to Nomad.  They could add playlist support to their WMDM driver.

Thanks Matt for your quick answer. So you mean that playlist synch with any of the Nomad players won't work anymore? Even the new ones like ZEN Vision?

Thanks
Dom

Newer players have playlist support using the WMDM standard.

It's up to Nomad whether they'll extend this to older players.
