Title: DVD Burner not working

I am an old user of Media Center 10.  Recently downloaded 11.1 on trial basis mainly because of the improved IPOD support that was promised (Ordered an IPOD for my daughter for Christmas)  Since this upgrade, none of the three DVD Burning programs on my computer recognize my burner.  The burner will play a video or CD, and will burn a CD.  But it does not recognize the drive as a DVD-RW drive.

Sorry forgot to mention I am using Media Center 11.1.82 (unregistered).  If I like it, will upgrade my MC10 to 11.1 after 30 day trial.

I assume you're on Windows XP. There's nothing in our installation code that could affect other programs recognition of your drives. Try a power down/up on the computer and then run one of the other apps. It should see the drive correctly.
