When i click a shoutcast video stream (http://broadcast.giga.de/listen.pls) than MC opens but nothing happens, only a new blank tab in firefox is opening. If i try to open the link in MC directly (file -> open url) the browser opens and ask me what to do, i can open or save, if i click open and choose MCs exe nothing happens again. If i choose save i download the stream to my disc.
I tried to save the .pls to my disk but opening it with MC opens the browser again i have to choose between open and save again...
Currently i'm just testing this fine piece multimedia player so i use the trial version. Maybe i oversaw something or is it a bug or is MC just not made for shoutcast video streams?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerly,
Chan Kong-sang

That stream is in NSV format, which is Nullsoft's proprietary format:

Besides MC I tried WMP, but it didn't work either. I got this error message:
Pins cannot connect due to not supporting the same transport.
I guess NSV can be played only with Winamp unless some OS level codecs are available.

MC is doing the same for these files as the ones i've posted here

aka nothing....
I think if MC is going to attempt to play something then fails,
we should at least get a curtious
"Sorry Dude No Can Do" type message 8)
