Title: Clean File Properties (Ablum Art)
Post by: dNj on December 24, 2005, 04:47:12 pm
Fixing Title Case and Underscores in album art

Up until a few builds ago when i wanted to clean file properties for music, doc's and album art I would run clean file properties in the advanced view scheme.  Now that the advanced view scheme is gone I now have to run clean file props. in the three individual view schemes.  Is there another to clean file properties for all 3 file types that  is back to a one step/clean all way?

Never thought about that

You Can Push All Of Them To Playing Now

But I Don't Think Docs Will Go To Playing Now

I was afraid of this. Many users may not realize that it is possible to make a new "all media" view scheme. Some will never be aware of that possibility.

Please check this thread out for details: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=30774.0

Alex B, good call.  I actually came back here to delete my post.  I was justplaying around with view schemes and realized i could up with a fix it myself.

A couple of other options for cleaning all file properties for all files.
Maybe a smartlist-task that looks for underscores (in filename path) and also all lower case letters for all files including docs.
or simply going back to advanced being included in the group of default view schemes.  I've been using MC for a couple of years and it was only two weeks ago that I first started playing around with view schemes.  I'm guessing there are many users who have never created or edited a view scheme.
