Title: Performance Of Album View

The album view seems quite slow/unresponsive when scrolling through
compared to say the images view.
Is there any hope of some performance mods here in the future?
I've noticed that it seems very dependent of the speed
of the drive where the library DB files are located.  I tried putting my
library DB on my new USB external drive, and it made the view totally unusable.

I'm interested in what other people find...

I have my files on one hard drive and media center another but they are both in the same machine. As the versions go up i seem to be getting more and more speed. I am currently showing about a 1,000 albums in thumbnail mode under file view.
