Title: Trying to restore from a near wipe out of my hard drive

and MC is giving me messages about failure to find MusicEX URL failure to download plugin and then it fails to import any of my music files though it has restored all my photos.  Wassup?

what format is your music stored in? (MP3, APE, Flac etc)
Sounds like it's trying to download a decoding plugin but can't.
Is your net connection ok?
Have you activated any new firewalls etc?
