I have a sound audigy platinum edition ex sound card. This sound card came with creative play center, which I thought was the ultimate cd juke box player, until I bought Meida Juke box cd player software. In terms of features and userbility, hands down media juke box knocks my creative play center out of the box. However, in terms of sound quality its the reverse. I wanted to know if there is anyway possible that I can increase the sound quality in media jukebox, besides tweaking the eq?

Assuming that you mean Media Jukebox, there are a couple of things to try.
An Internet search for Creative driver problems might help. There are some known problems with some creative drivers, and there is a lot of help available on the Internet.
Also check the Windows sound levels for wave and volume. Set them up.

Thanks for the correction. I meant Media JukeBox.

Hi Sandman;
I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum also. It plays great with MJ. I have always installed the latest drivers.
If you are running Windows XP, the drivers that came with the Audigy were not designed for XP & had a lot of weird problems on XP. Creative has released several updates since last year, the latest being just a couple of weeks ago, they resolve a lot of problems.
Check it out as the Audigy with MJ is well worth the effort.

And don't forget Audigy2 :o
