Title: Song Names Gettting Cut Short

When I import into songs in to media center some of the song names were cut short and alot of information is lost. I am using the free trial. I want to buy Media Center but this is a problem. How can I fix it?

It maybe that the Id3v1v1 tags are being read and they are a max of 30 chrs

Id3v2 tags can hold more info

are you sure that the files have id3v2 tags?

What program were you using to save the tags to the file?

What kind of files are they?

can other programs read the full tags?

Last time I investigated the very same problem, it seemed like this happenes when ID3 v1 is the only tag available with ID3 v2 empty.
Check "File Type Info."
