Post by: PeterS on January 03, 2006, 11:25:36 am
In a bid to help users find the best podcasting content, we're putting together a list of feeds that we can link to in MEDIA CENTER. If you know of any that are particularly useful or interesting, please let us know.

I listen to Bill Handel and John & Ken's KFI Podcast feeds every day.  You can find it here:

Makes me laugh.

PeterS,

Might OPML import/export functionality be added to MC in the near future?  Here's the OPML of some of my most-often read feeds:

Edit:  I copied the wrong OPML (RSS Favorites vice Podcasts) and then confused myself by writing about the RSS Favorites.  I can't even blame it on the liquor!

And I agree with the poster above that recommended the Ricky Gervais podcast at http://www.guardian.co.uk/podcasts/rickygervais/mp3.xml

There's a lot of good podcast stuff on KCRW (California) in general, IMHO. And a lot of the Aussie ABC and JJJ podcasts are quite good. I live in NYC, but I've been having trouble locating some great NYC podcast content....

I've only just got around to subscribing to The Ricky Gervais Show and love it.  Problem is that it's currently up to Episode 11 of 12, and the archive at http://www.guardian.co.uk/rickygervais only shows the last four episodes.

Does anyone know where/if I can download all previous episodes?  Anyone prepared to mail or make them available to me to download (about 13MB a show)?

Apologies if I've incorrectly posted here , but couldn't think of anywhere else.

If you're a fan of the new "Battlestar Galactica", Ron Moore's weekly commentary track (http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/downloads/podcast/podcast.xml) is essential.

(And if you're not a fan of the new BG, what the heck is the matter with you?!? ;))
