Title: Sony digital voice recorder
Post by: drosene on January 03, 2006, 08:42:12 pm
We use MediaCenter to manage our music and our Ipod Video, Nano and my Dell x50v.  Now my wife wants a voice recorder for dictation and meetings. I'm looking at the Sony ICD-SX25 which records in something called MSV format.  Any chance that device could be supported.  The library would be great for managing recordings.

If windows media player or direct show can play it we have a good shot.  (Might have to add the extension.)

Other than that we haven't seen the format.

It's Sony's Memory Stick Compressed Voice File.

You can use the Sony Player Plug-in Version 1.2 for the Microsoft Windows Media Player Application to play.
