Title: Method of counting albums from within MC?

Is there a method of doing this?

i usually exclude paths to radio mixes and singles from the main library and have a view scheme with just album as a column.

The (count) at the top gives me the result.

Otherwise you could display the library as album thumbnails and look at the status bar for a count.

It would be nice if the status bar did this in detailed mode too,
especially when the top is already showing Albums in tiled mode.

Select Audio node
Select AW -> File Properties... -> Statistics -> Overview

(whatever node selected is reflected in statistics)
