Title: Ugh - Nagging 3g iPod initialiation failure

MC 11.0.279  iPod 3g

I've been trying to get an old-ish 3g iPod up and running for my son.  This iPod have been idle for some time, but did work perfectly  with MC11 on this computer in the past.  MC11 can see the iPod in the Device folder, but gives an "Initialization Error: Device not Found" msg when I select it (left and right click).

1.  I have restored and updated the iPod using latest Updater (11/25/05 version). 
2.  After a few "internal error" msgs from Updater, the update appeared to complete successfully
3.  iPod displays v 2.3
4.  iPod menu systems appears fully functional
5.  I can see the iPod and browse its folders from MyComputer

Any suggestions for next steps??

Update:

Grabbed the latest update (11.0.316), all appears to be well.

D'oh, why didn't I just try this first??  :)
