Suddenly when I attempt to use aTagger that's the error I get:
Interface Plug-in 'aTagger' could not be found or created
I've uninstalled aTagger via Plug-in Manager (and in Windows) and reinstalled yet I continue to get this same error.
Anyone have any tips for this error?

You Are Prob missing Some Controls That The Plug-In Needs.

Either that or you have the MCXML plugin also installed.
There's a known conflict between the two.
You don't have to uninstall them, but one needs to be disabled via the plugin manager.

That's probably it. I installed the MCXML plugin last week and couldn't get it to work. Next time I try aTagger...nothing.
I've now uninstalled MCXML and aTagger...then re-installed aTagger. I'm still getting the error. Perhaps I missed some of the MCXML bits and pieces?

Did you restart MC?
In order for both to work I had to disable MCXML, then restart MC, then enable atagger and it would work fine.
If you've uninstalled MCXML, then I don't know what to say.
I've uninstalled MCXML also as I don't have a need for it anymore.
Atagger has been running fine.
Maybe backup your library and uninstall/reinstall MC?

I don't know why the two would conflict with each other.
That don't make sence to me.

It seemed like MCXML was locking some shared resource file which caused atagger not to be able to start.
I dunno. I use atagger a lot and have no need for XML anymore so I uninstalled it long ago, but I did dupe it repeatedly and doc'd it for Alan.
You should be able to find the post in this subforum.

Yup...the restart did it. Thank you!
I'm up and "aTagging" again.
