Title: Modified vs Created date for images

Hi all,

I was looking at my collection today in a view I haven't used much until now - Images by Year/Month/Day - and noticed that MC seems to be using the Modified date of my pictures, rather than the Created date field.

I find this problematic since the Modified date isn't the actual date I took the picture. Has anyone else noticed this? (I did a quick search on "modified created date" in the forum and saw no signs of it being discussed...).

Although I think Created Date should be the hard coded default for images, at the very least I'd appreciate the option of one or the other in MC.

Bump...

Am I just way off here in my understanding (is it a configuration thing that I can change myself), or is this something that people would just rather ignore?

The main issue I think is the info pop-up when hovering over a picture thumbnail in MC - it shows the 'modified' date as default. Is there a way I can change this, as well as view sorting, to use 'created' date instead?
