Title: Volume presets?
Post by: jagdriver on January 18, 2006, 10:47:53 am
Would it be possible to have 2 to 3 volume presets? This woulds be useful to me in that I run MC from a Pocket PC. Being able to instantly set 2 to 3 known volume levels (user choice) would be very useful.

Thanks

Out of curiosity how would you want to do this?
Would it be from a button on the theatre view?
or shortcut of some kind?
I'm sure it should be possible already?

Media Center can be controlled by command line paramaters

http://www.jrmediacenter.com/DevZone/CommandLine.html

The following should set the volume:
MC11.exe /Command VolumeSet x

Where x is a value between 0 and 100.

You could then create a windows shortcuts to this, with
a set volume, and a set shortcut key... and I think thats what your looking for?
