Hello,
I am using MC 11.1.101.
First of all I have to say that the Karma support in 11.1 is musch much better than in 11.0 now. Much faster transfers and no hang-ups.
Just one not a very major problem. I have some files with unicode tags - they do not get transferred correctly - Karma shows some garbled text instead of cyrillic. MS MP does do this correctly as well as the Rio Media Manager (RMM). Also if I drop those files from MC to RMM this also works correctly.
Is this a Karma specific problem? Can this be fixed?

Media Center is fully Unicode, so we're not sure what this would be.

Is the display incorrect on the Rio or inside of MC?  Does it look wrong right after the upload in MC, or only after a restart?

Thanks for a quick response.

I don't have any problems with unicode _inside_ MC.
All my unicode entries in MC library look correct.
This problem only occurs when I transfer files from MC to Karma.
The transferred files do not look correct in Karma handheld and in Rio Music Manager and in MC itself (when I browse the content of Karma - the unicode files just transferred through MC interface look wrong, the unicode files previously transferred via RMM or MS MC look correct). And again, Karma does support unicode - if I transfer the very same files either through MS MP or RMM everything looks OK.

Matt,
Just FYI.
I tried my Karma with the latest build (11.1.144) and it works great!
Unicode problems - gone. Fast transfers.
Other problems went away too (last time I tried MC 11.1.101 with Karma, it corrupted the Karma's database and caused it to froze dead - I was about to throw it away but found a way to reboot it)
