Title: Podcast List Encoding
Post by: tgack on January 23, 2006, 08:14:53 pm: The following podcast seems to have trouble displaying the names of the episodes when I create a new feed and view the list:

Instead of displaying the proper Chinese characters, the names show up as

è?œé¸Ÿ62 Mobile Phones
ä¸çº§21 Pop Music & Pop Culture
æ–°é—»13 ChinesePod News: Jan 22, 2006
...

I believe this is an encoding problem. I know Media Center uses the Internet Explorer engine for some things, but I have confirmed my IE is set to the proper encoding and the file titles display just fine through my web browser.
Any suggestions?

Post by: tgack on February 08, 2006, 01:51:56 am: Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this? I can view the feed list with the proper characters just fine in Internet Explorer and in Itunes. But for some reason they show up as gibberish in Media Center.
