Isn't there a possability to have an eject button for the iPod in the view header next to the options button or in the action window ?
If I directly sync my iPod without navigating to it I have no option to eject it (only if I go to devices, ipod, right click)

Don't know if this is exactly what you want, but you can set MC so that the iPod ejects automatically after sync.
Tools > Options > Handheld > Advanced Options > Device Management > Auto-Eject
Settings are "None", "On Close", & "After Sync"

Thanks for the answer but I know how I can eject know.
The problem is if I don't go to "Devices..." and rightclick, I have no eject function.
If I just click "Sync" when connecting my iPod, I should have an option somewhere to eject the iPod without browsing to the "Devices..." first.
Maybe a toolbar button ?
