Title: Media Center 7 trial period ended popup

I use Media Center 10, have been using it for some time,
was ripping stuff this morning, then out of the blue, I am suddenly getting a pop-up prompting me to upgrasde from a trial period Media Center 7. It won't let me do anything else. Putting a CD in my drive it acknowledges the cuts as Media Center.

How can I find this bugger and delete it?

There was no Media Center 7.

Try uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling.  We'd recommend 11 or 11.1.

This resolved itself when I restored the registry to a previous setting- for some reason, when I added some new applications, it brought this back to life. Still would like to know how to kill it. Is it is the registry?

So if it is in your registry it did not come from J River.

Now There Was A "Media Center" Version 7 from Microsoft (i think)
