AND I SCREWED UP!!

i unzipped it followed there directions in the text. and it didnt work? so i went into plugin manager again trying to uninstall it, and it says Interface plugin MSNplayingNow could not be found or created. and it locks up mediacenter, also now everytime i open up media center it shows that warning. could you help me get rid of this please? also any ideas why i lost my working what i 'm listening2 and how do i get it back?

Uninstall MC and remove your registry settings.  Make sure the plug-in(s) you're having problems with are removed from the disc.  Then re-install MC.

The uninstall should allow you to remove registry entries.

To be doubly sure, check theres no left overs in

Software\JRiver\Media Jukebox\Plugins\Interface\

using Regedit.

I forgot to mention, it appears the plugins can appear under
either HKey_Local_Machine, or HKey_Current_User.
Make sure you check both of them.
Under the same place regardless.

Unless you mean after reinstalling the plugin?
The following is a direct link to the "What I'm Listening 2 Plugin"
 you mentioned first which installs itself

i screwed up. sorry!!! when i first started this post I was having a problem w\ the... what i'm listening to plugin, so i uninstalled mediacenter. well now the problem i am having is ... Interface plugin "write playing" can not be found or created, i have uninstalled mediacenter numerous times, and also reinstalled and also done updates. Do i may have to find an old version? if you look on yer media center under services and plugins there is thing that is called write playing. well when i click on that i get the error also, and then the whole mediacenter screen turns white.. so i am missing this write playing thing. whatever it is, and that is what is causing the pop up error when i start media center.

thanks for your reply again Chriz

Here's a link to the writeplaying plugin

I'd imagine reinstalling that will solve your problem.

If you haven't seen it already at the top of interact is a link to skins and plugins,
which is how i'm finding these links.
